I just looked at the U.S. Web site and the interior images of the 5er where the CID is visible show the CCC based iDrive.

I thought that only Euro version has it and US version will have old ones....
It will apparently vary by market in terms of when the new iDrive will be introduced. BMW has not however set forth a timetable for this.
