Fell out of rear fender lining - what does this go to? Have pics

Can't seem to pull up the part number online and have no clue what this goes to. Fell out of rear passenger fender lining when removing lining.

Part numbers are as follows: BMW 3353 1091 696-02

After doing more searching, it looks to be a 'suspension shipping spacer' and should have been removed upon delivery pre inspection.

My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.

it's possible that when they removed it, it fell and they couldn't locate it. If it was installed you would know it.
