For average drivers (like me), electronics are a blessing.

The Eifel region of Germany had some snowfall around here this evening and unlike the states they stop taking care of the roads about 7 pm.? I do not get off work until 2 am.? So you can imagine all the compacted snow turned to ice and the snow on top of it.? Luckily, I ordered snow tires but they will not be in until Thursday so I get to drive with summer tires on it.

Anyway, had a couple of slips and DTC kicked in and hooked me up.? I didn't drive like normal either.? Reduced speed to 1/4 of the norm.? I fell safer and more secure everyday.? Just thought I would share that out to people who do not go in the snow that often.

@Kigerka

May I ask what size & brand of winter tires your mounting on the car?

Thanks!

I did not want to say that so that no one think that I'm braging. Long winter teach how to drive on slippery surface.

Talking about drifting....

I don't remember the size tire. I know it is. The wheels are RC-Design "M1" 8x17's and the tires are made by Kleber. I want to say 245 or 275's. I didn't really pay attention I just told him to order me the safest winter tire I could get. All 4 wheels and tires including serivice to balance and all that cost me ?820.00.
