you won't see too many 550s or M5s in china. They have to be imported, the 530s and 523s are built in china. My sister-in-law just bought a 320i. Based on the current exchange rate, I think she paid almost $50k US. She told me that a "real" imported 550 cost about 1,000,000.00 yuan or about $145,000.00 US. I guess we are getting a pretty good deal.

My God!!! This is the funniest thing i've seen in quite a while.
About 3 months ago i was driving down the interstate near Nashville and in the oncoming lane I saw a Black Kia Sorento that had put some kind of chrome tape on the front of the hood in the shape of BMW kidneys with a BMW emblem stuck on the hood right above it. The best part was the tape was all crooked. I nearly had to pull over i was laughing so hard. I just wish I had a camera.
That link is gonna keep me laughing for days.

Hahaha, that red minivan owner sure went to some great lengths! I just hope these owners just have a really good sense of humor and just want to laugh at themselves, cuz it'd be really sad if they were doing that just to impress people.
