Just had the Active Steering fail for the second time Thankfully, I was in the neighborhood, just like last time, so it was not that dangerous.

I'll post the iDrive picture from my phone later, but the message was as follows:

"Active steering inact.

When possible, please stop and restart the engine to reinitialize active steering"

What's funny is the engine dies, so stopping is not that hard - thank goodness I did not have to steer.

Anyway, I wonder what the h**l is going on.....
