I hate the front, our front is much better. The rear however is not that bad. It looks like a cheap japanese saloon, but its concept is better than the angled rear trunk shut-line we have.

I can't believe that it is E60 face lift, because there is not even one part of our car on it.
The doors are completely different, so it isn't a face-lift, for sure.
Anyway, not that bad, but also not a wonderful car, as E60 is.
The front reminds me 7 series with 3 series mix-up.
The back reminds me some good japanese cars like Honda Prelude ?? (in europe)
I'm happy with my E60, it has a unique classy-sport look at the front with a groovy shape at the rear.

My Ride: MY05 545i Jet Black with Auburn interior. SMG, Logic7, Sport Package, Comfort Seats, Navigation.
I hope BMW would go ahead and make the next 5er like that. So we E60 owners can whine and cry like E39's owner did when E60 first came out. I know I did.

maybe it's just a cheap photoshop. i know the "BILD-Zeitung". it's yellow press. many people read it everyday in germany, though it's a very naive and very sensational. the catch-lines are often things like "this man wants to be pregnant!" or "has heidi klum a new boyfriend?". the articles are often not true or are a tissue of lies. they have also many magazines, Auto Bild, Bild der Frau, etc. if they have found a nice story many people could think it's intresting, they make a big article out of it.
i think those photos were found by an editor and then they made a sensation out of it. very brainless. i don't trust those pictures.
but tomorrow i'll buy the Auto Bild just for you guys and i will report you what they write about the "new 5er".

Actually it was already sounding like it in the other thread, so I posted this post there

It's something like E60 really is, so don't trust what they say, the final release will be better
Edit: I like this better than the Auto Bild's one
Another view from behind compaired to '03-'04 M5 demo-car, but is taken from the same angle.
