I think it said 200kW for the new 530, so that would be 268hp, which is identical to the new MB E350 if anyone is counting.

528 (US): 172kW = 230hp

530 (maybe US?): 200kW = 268hp

535(US): 225kW = 302hp

Who knows if Canada will get these engines or not.

there are a lot of changes. How reliable is that now?
There is nothing about the new steptronic
I am starting to worry
New Steptronic will be released sometime 07.
It has been designed in Europe and is currently in pre-production at GM Strasbourg (replacing the 5L40E).
The transmission is based on the all new GM Clutch to Clutch technology which I am told is a better drive than the existing ZF.

Never heard anything about a totally new Steptronic. What we know is that in spring 2007 a new version of the standard Steptronic, suffixed TU (Technically Upgraded), will be available on the E60. The new autotranny will feature some improvements above the current version, namely an electric-operated gear-lever (similar in concept to the SMG lever), quicker shift response, paddle levers to the handwheel, more efficient "active" downshifting.
