The "Worldcarfans" page clearly says this photo is just a test mule for the new engines, not the facelifted model.
I know it say that on the page but why have they change the front bottum part it naff
I hope the new 1 next year is not that this!!!

Likely to get more air to the engine than the standard plumbing.

I heard that the facelifted E60/61 will have the new faster 6 speed steptronic transmission (from the 335i coupe) with that odd gear shift lever. Aside from that, a few new engines worldwide (only 535 tt6 new to U.S. I believe) and some minor tweaks to the exterior - which one source described as certainly less noticable than the recent revisions to the E65 when it became the 750. My 550, if it ever gets here, has the M-aero kit, which I'm gathering won't change in design/appearance if you ordered it on a facelifted E60/61 next year. I'm changing the wheels as well, so aside from the transmission, what would be different about my car now, or after the facelift?

The big question still is, will the facelift occur in March or as traditionally in September next year.

Otherwise the enginines will be upgraded, as found in the new E92 and the new facelifted X3 and
also the auto gearbox will change to the new, faster one.

The changes outside will be, a new grill, bumpers and led tail lights but also traditionally the changes
will not be that huge, a e60 member will notice them but I doubt my wife will...

I still think that BMW are going too make a BIG mistake if they don?t introduce the 535i TT in the RW and EU. Becouse the 540i don?t attract many people due too higher fuel consumption, service, insurance and a low trade in value.

I was about to order a 550 today but I am waiting for the 2007 spring refesh. I have found a photo of the interior of the new 5 extended wheel base sold only in China. Check out the interior picture of the door panels. I am assuming that there are the revised door panels for the upcoming refresh....
