I didn't realise that reflectors were such an "issue".

I noticed on the german site showing the new 5 where you play with the Idrive bookmark buttons, one of them appears to play a movie. On the English website, none of the bookmarks play a movie, just show nav, radio, etc. Interesting...
I like the area under the headlights and grill. It looks much more refined than the standard now. I think the interior is improved upon too and wish I had the extra openings under the DVD slot. The new door panels, I'm not so sure about. The current doors, to me, look better.
They should have improved the cupholders and glove compartment. The glove compartment is too low and too small. Things slide out of it and it hits the front passenger's knees. The 1992 BMW 520i I had had a nice large glove compartment.
win some, lose some
Just my opinion...

No one seems to have mentioned the reprofiled sills on the SE version. There definitely a difference in that from the side profile you can see a more pronounced line between the plastic sill moulding and the bottom of the doors. I think this an improvement as it makes the sides less slabby which slightly spoiled the SE profile as opposed to the M tech one.
Overall I think there are a number of cosmetic improvments inside and out but I would be sad if the orange brows have gone as it appears from one of the links in this thread where you can view the front lights on or off. The brow is still there though which would be strange if it didn't illuminate at all.
