Just thought I would share a recent experience with everyone - the 535 almost went to a nice Audi dealer a month ago (used RS6 + Avant), nothing wrong with the BM, just a knee jerk to seeing the shiny 480bhp Audi. The initial wow factor of the BM's motor had started to wear off, after a long weekend of heavy thinking and having negotiated an acceptable deal on both the BM and the Audi I was looking back at my days of RR Sport ownership on rrsport.uk and I remembered that when I had my RRS I used to drive the car everywhere with the Auto box in manual mode. Monday morning, I parked my bum in the drivers seat of the BM and proceeded to do my 25mile commute in manual mode........................AMAZING! I haven't used D or DS since - I can continuously keep the car in the torque sweet spot if I am in the mood or if not I can get an extra 5mpg out of it (in auto you will never see below 1500 rpm whereas in manual mode you can get it down to 1000rpm)
Driving the facelift in manual mode changes the car IMHO - try it and report back......

Actually in my native lang. we use "BM" and i am not chinese!

 

All genuine afficionados call it a BM
