Sup guys, today I got a chance to see an F30 (the new 2012 3 series) live in person on the street. My first impression was "wow what kinda car is that" it is a very sexy car and as it past me I realized why I was so attracted to it; because it looks very similar to our cars in body shape, lines and design. I think if many of you see it you might agree that this will be your next bmw if you were really happy with your E60.

So far from reading it seems like the majority of people who have owned E60s and moved on to F10s or just drove one or even just seen the differences, most tend to say the F10 doesn't really compare to the E60. They say in design it doesn't follow tradition and if you drive the car it feels very large and lunky, it doesn't retain those same sporty aspects of the e60 such as being light weight, swift, able to do nice sharp turns at high speed and able to accelerate quickly.

With the exception of the 7 series which looks like it a bit smaller and sportier in a 7 kind of way, bmw designed all the newer generation cars to be slightly so far those of us who were unhappy with what they did to the 5 series, I think the new 3 series maybe what you are looking for. Tell me what do you think?

Could not agree more, very nice lines.... I just saw a 328i sport at my dealer.... Black on black, fabric seats with red stiches, 18" wheels, ....and oh! The technology...just great an plus a 280 hp in just a 2.0 line 4 engine Beautiful!... Really considering about changing... I even stopped myself from asking for some goodies for the e60...

Seen a number of these on the road around here recently and definitely think it looks a lot like the new F10.

It's too early to tell anything really. In my opinion, people will follow through with whatever the majority does. Once certain people submit to the will of bmw through their design, the majority of the people in this forum will too. Everyone here beside a few are pro bmw as if its a sports team, so no way they're going to switch sides easily. However, bmw is smart because they already know all of this and either you buy whatever series/options they offer or you switch series. Their marketing is very brilliant and to me it's predictable.

You guys have got it all wrong... the F01 is the next best looking thing to the E60... The strong lines on the side, the headlights sitting on the corner of the car... lemme explain

Personally I love the design. I hate the prices and I hate the handling on the newer F's
