i saw this posted the other day about someone with eyebrows that don't work (light up). i didn't even know the e60 had them, lol! i have a 2007 530i and mine do not light up. any help on how to fix this? do i even have them on my car? i do have angel eyes, but when i turn them on, that is all i see, just the 4 round LEDs.

thanks for the help.

I heard that a certain software update inadvertently disabled the eyebrows on some pre-LCI cars. A newer update fixes it.

Yes, it's a question of updating. I took this update after I wrote here (3rd post): https://5series.net/forums/topic/958...1#entry1135175

The cost was actually 110 euros after all, don't know how many hours it took because I had the normal service the same time. Don't know the US prices for this update though.

Need software update.

Otherwise if you're in Socal, we can manually enable it for you. (by punching it, just kidding)

Or, Cut the wire on 1 side and hook it upto the angel eyes wires. Both sides will light up just fine
