It will not play DVD audio. I tried and I wish it would.

Maybe somewhere in the near future.
Currently you can only use it for the nav dvd and music cd's.

If you copy CDs to a DVD (so the CD format) can you than play the number on the DVD ?
ex a DVD is 4.7 GB a music CD around 600 MB (if the artist wants to fill it)
This means than that you can put around 8 cds on 1 DVD (in cd format)

AFAIK nobody has tried that yet.
The nav disc is a DVD, so the drive can read DVD's, and it can play music... Hhhmmm... I dunno...

There isn't an "audio DVD" format that looks like a large CD. DVD-Audio simply uses for bits for more resolution. If you record an MP3 file DVD, that won't work either.

Thus, no. You cannot put around 8 cds on 1 DVD (in cd format).
