I tried searching this forum, but not much info. I found more info on e90post regarding the issue, but most of the recommended hard drives are old and not for sale anymore (I don't want to buy used one..)
As far as I understand there is a limit of 20k items (that is not a problem), but what about the size? Are, let say, 500gb hard drives supported? I am looking at WD Passport 500gb from newegg, but I don't want to buy and later find out that it does not work. Some post state that the hdd should be smaller than 120gb etc, some hdds do not work because of not enough power, some do work just fine...

so which ones do you guys use?

I used my 320GB WD HDD for a while, but the access times were pretty sluggish. I changed it out for an 8GB flash drive and, with no moving parts, it's been pretty responsive.
