Experiences with buyback on *35i cars

Morning all,
Who here has gone through the buyback or lemon process on *35i cars?
Did you start with the dealership, or go direct to a lemon lawyer?
Mileage on your cars at the time?
Settlement? All payments returned? Options on new cars?
I'm starting to consider it on my '08 535i.
I'm going in Monday for my second HPFP in three weeks, and now the third or fourth time to repair the issue. (First one or two times was a reflash of programming trying to resolve the issue)
I would consider ordering a new F10 depending on the terms.
