Expensive tyre puncture

Today I got a new RF-tyre after a puncture and I had to look twice at the invoice:

$ 889 !!!!!

!!!! what size...have you fitted 21" pimp rims????

I got 2 17" RF tyres fitted at my dealer and a free valet for under ?400.....roughly $700

OUCH !!!

I just called BMW and took a price on style 123+RF-tyre and they said $ 986

That can't be right?! They must have charged you for the wheel aswell as the tyre..

I replaced a rashed rear style 124 and the bill came ot just over $500 USD

I'd ask them for the other wheel back so you have a spare...

I just called Kwik fit (tyre fitter in the UK), they quoted ?175GBP for a 245/35/18 Goodyear RF with a Y rating, they fit for free, even if the Dollar rate was at 2x$ to the ? it looks like you have had dental extraction from ya wallet by your supplier.
