Sorry to hear about your troubles. I have 120K miles on the E60 and praise be to the god that I have not had any troubles. I have a family member with an X5 and he has had all sorts of issues. I've owned about 6 BMW's and I own 2 currently and never have an issue so far. I maintain them and it isn't expensive. $50 for an OEM oil change every 7500 miles is nothing. My car is a 1 owner and an M54 530 and never experienced any of the issues some people experience.

My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.

You can have the rims repaired. Look for rim repair in your area. I just had two straighten and one looked pretty bad, all are just fine now...
