Also, wrt. BMW Assist. Is the anual fee (is it fixed or car-dependent) for everything, or are there per-use charges, as well?

 

I believe that is the one of the options that appears when you push your I-drive controler straight down. It tells brake life, oil level, etc...

 

Annual fee covers everything insofar as use of the system.
