Since it once again is getting really cold overhere and the roads will not be messy,
I asked the guys at my company garage to wash my car.

The car was clean (very clean outside in fact) but the iDrive was messed up and I found
some dirt on the backseat mats as well (they where 100% clean this morning.)

So I suppose the garage guys did a sitting test (only I hope) and tried out the features
of the iDrive etc...

Should I be mad or just be glad that they adore the E60

I'm sure they were in the back seat for the sole purpose of a thorough interior cleaning. Yep, that's the reason.

Do the rear tires appear to look frayed from powersliding???

I think you should take your K-1 in for a wash and see if they discover the BMW helmet clip under its "rear" seat.

Cheers,

I wouldn't be mad, but I'd let them know that my car is not for their fiddling pleasure. I would not view their actions as a compliment, but rather as an invasion of privacy and inconsistent with their job stipulations. But, I'd be very friendly and let them know that I am not judging them harshly because their temptation is very understandable. You also could tell them that you have started checking your mileage every morning when you enter the garage--and why not start doing so so you'd be telling the truth?

Eeek... I wouldnt have liked that... I would have been more than happy to let them play with it and give them a demonistration if they asked... I love showing people the features of the car its just so much fun. Asking is all thats needed.

I also looked at the milage (km) meter (not sure they didn't go for a spin)
but for sure the rear tires could not have been worn on snowy roads,
even in the city, it was minus 20 C and still is.

These guys keep such good care of my car so I suppose they feel to
have the right to check it out, but not drive it.

I also have my 18" summer wheels in the garage and they are nicely
washed and stored there.

But you can be sure that I will have a chat with the guys.
Maybe I really should take them all for a BMW intruduction and test drive.

It is a 85 k$ car overhere.
