Question ...
Are the european outside mirrors curved? driver/passenger ... either... both ... neither..?
the following 2 pics are examples of the MB S classes curved mirrors ... not sure if BMW uses them too. if soo ... would anybody have the part numbers for them?

The mirror is actually not curved, it provides a better view. Those mirrors are found on EU cars. In the US you have the funny sentence: "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear" instead of the advanced view.

BMW has 3 different types of mirrors (heated, auto dimming) for EU :
Wide Angle : 51167116745 (Left side)
: 51167116746 (Right side)
Convex : 51167116749 (Left side)
: 51167116750 (Right side). <---- US Right side mirror.
Plane:
I bought the Wide angle Left side mirror from a London's BMW dealer.

i just noticed the HEATED part ... are the outside mirrors heated even when you don't have the COLD WEATHER PACKAGE?
