Are the Euro E60's speed limited to 155?

My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
Are the Euro E60's speed limited to 155? If not how fast do they go?

Yep i think so. I have a buddy tried doing 150mph for his 545i. Between 150-155mph probably.

Don't you need to have a racing license to have it removed, I always thought it was a shame that the 530d couldn't go about 4 mph faster, then it would be limited, and thats sounds cooler.

Not only iceman, jmcaiado has a 530d with the ACS chip and no speed restriction on it, it reaches around 253 Km/h.

How accurate You think odometer is in BMW e60? In Germany I drove 250 km/h and it seemed that car still had something to give, but limiter kicked in. Of course it was downhill.
