I went for my physical therapy yesterday to recover from my spine surgery. When I started the car at home everything was fine. When I start the car I have a routine and look at certain things. After therapy I went and started the car, this time, for a brief moment, at the bottom of the I-Drive screen where it usually says "Fasten Seatbelt" it said "Unlock Button" and then went over to say "Fasten Seatbelt". This is the second time this has happened, although many weeks from the first occurence. Anyone else seen this or heard of this? What does it mean? Is the Unlock button malfunctioning??? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated before I add it to my list for the dealer.
Thanks !
Thanks !

I get this message every once in a while. It doesn't seem to affect the operation of the vehicle in any way.
Maybe what's happening is that sometimes the iDrive interface comes up sooner than other times, and that the message is a normal part of the "boot" process, but that sometimes we see it and sometimes we don't.

Waiting for trunkopener button from Hobi :)
I have seen it too and it dissapeared in a few seconds.. I also wondered what was wrong. Only saw it once so I believe that there is no problem.

Ours too!!!!!!!!!!
Ours first said "Key/Memory!" It was only with key #1.
Then we brought it in to the dealer & they did a complete software update.
When we got it back, it was fine for less than a day.
Now, we get "Unlock Button!" First it was just with key #1. Then it started with key #2. It happens EVERY time we start the car.
It stays on for a few minutes. It is very annoying because you can see time, radio station, or signal strength.

I would presume the car means the unlcok button that unlocks the doors but am not sure. I guess I will ask the dealer next time I go in.
