OK, the title and description almost says it all. I'm replacing my existing 2006 530xi with a new 2010 535xi. I want to erase/delete all of my address book entries in the old Nav System before I sell off my old vehicle. Any way to easily do it?

page 134 of your manual seems pretty straight forward

Imagine what you find if you have your manual handy!! And, no wonder I couldn't find it using the Nav screens.

I tried it and it seems to have worked.

Thanks Gene. a double

One additional note. As I took my last drive in this morning, I wanted to check and make sure all my old Nav info was in fact deleted. While my address book was in fact gone, all of my old "destinations" were not. I probably had a dozen or so of these as well. These were easily removed by going in to the Nav screen selecting destinations and doing a delete list from the selection screens.

Don't forget to delete the "destinations" from your iDrive after deleting the address book or you could get a visit from some nut after you've sold your car. You might also want to remember to delete your garage door opener info as well or they could just drive to your "Home address", open your garage door and come visit you.
