This symbol appeared today on my I-Drive in the position usually used for entertainment symbols. Any ideas what it means. It remained on the screen from the time I left home and reached my destination. When I restarted my car, the symbol disappeared and the normal symbols appeared.
Any ideas.

Were you listening to Sirius when that was displayed?
I've seen that happen when the Sirius stream is interrupted like when going through a tunnel or driving in a parking garage. Basically, the receiver didn't fully receive the data showing the stream name from the satellite. What you see are "unprintable" characters or simply garbage characters. Since the data for the stream name is only sent when you change channels, it's likely that the garbage stayed there until you turned the car off if you listened to the same channel. If you would have changed channels, it would have cleared and the new channel (stream) name would have appeared...
