Post Engine service soon

So, This evening I find Engine check light on. No idrive messages whatsoever. It had coolant level low message last week but I got it topped from BMW.

Any suggestions what I should check before I go to the dealership ?

2006 550i 50k miles

Thanks!

If you don't have an OBD-II code reader, buy one and then you will need to read the codes.

Some auto parts strores read codes for free.

Check & make sure your fuel cap is tight ... the fuel cap rubber seal also maybe worn out.
