engine noise

My Ride: 2012 535i M package
Hello everyone, for the past two years I been having this noise, actually first I thougt it was from my steering column as the noise comes immediately after turning off the car and the steering goes up, but after several atempts, the dealer always says the fix the problem, (changing the steering column) today I started to noticed that the noise is a little rougher...the symptom is..
right after turning engine off you can hear like a bang noise.. after maybe 2 seconds you can hear some grinding noise that comes from the engine I believe it is like a black box or around, right next to the oil dip stick.. the car is under cpo..
