A few months ago this light came on, took it to BMW and they said to not worry about it and that it was just a one time thing. Well today, I turn my car on, and it comes on again. When I turned the car on again, the light is off.

What is the problem here?? Should I even take it in??

i had this warning i dont know if it was referring to me or my car... i had the AC running for a long period of time and when i turned my car on and i got the warning. Ever since that i drive the extra mile for a hotel

I rushed my car to the dealer the next day they did not find anything wrong

I i think i have probable cause that my alternator could be acting up. Today i was driving with the AC in MAX for the first time in a year and when i left work a few hours ago the engine was louder. This is the second time i hear this high pitch sound from the driver side of the engine. The first time was with my radio on for a long period of time while cleaning my car.
