Has anyone every gotten a Engine Malfunction, Reduced Power on the E60? I recently had the Dinan upgrade done on my 535 xi (3 weeks ago). the warning just came up while driving casually down the street. I pulled over for my appointment (which lasted 20 minutes or so) restarted the car and the warning light was gone. Does anyone have an idea. I'm bringing her into the dealship tomorrow, but i have a feeling that they wont find anything.

Confused

If you've been using good brand gas at leats 91 octane, I'll take it back to the Dinan dealer to see if theres is any other problem.
with mod you running at double digit (almost double the psi) compare to stock , please make sure you have good premium gas or it'll ping badly.

I had reduced power on my e60, then one day my car just crashed, battery was dead !!! had it replaced and computer restarted fixed the issue. So i believe its the battery, have it checked out see how much power its produceing before its too late, and you'll get stuck like i did. BTW theres huge issues with bmw battery, recommended to change every 2 years..try that

I've had it. Finally got it to the dealership last week and they said the intake manifold sensor had thrown a code. They replaced it. So far so good, but I haven't driven it much since then.
