Engine Malfunction with Deteriorating emission?

My Ride: '08 535i Spacey Grey, Sport, Prem, Navi, 20 way comfort (a must) - DCI, JB4 - ditched the RFT
'08 MDX Tech pkg
Engine Malfunction with Deteriorating emission levels warning icon showed up today in the indicator warning light on my dash.
iDrive shows nothing, checked the info center, all green and nothing is displayed, no codes, no check engine info. What is it?
I can drive, all speeds, no rattle, no sputter, no bad smell,and no hesitation.
I immediately turn JB4 back to default and rev the engine a little to see if it's HPFP but it sounded normal.
My local BMW dealer just changed the spark plugs recently, so it could have been that. Is it misfiring or bad GAS?

nothing.. normal sounds and sprints are okay too...
maybe vapors in the gas tank? that's why i'm asking..
lol

So it was bad GAS.. those 10% Ethanol at WAWA (Had to fill it there due to no local Sunoco 93's). I've WOT the car the next day to see it will flutter or sputter, but it didn't and in about an hour it went away... just before I call the local dealer... lol
