Default Engine issue - Will not start

Hey, got a 2004 mod E60 520i.. Been pretty good car the months I've had it, until today.. when I went out to start it the engine would not start. I am sure it is not the mpm, considering I had issues with it not too long ago and fixed that. Lights, meters and the idrive screen all works as intended, but the engine doesn't make a sound, it's not even trying to start.

Now I am just making this thread to see if anyone knows what the problem is by my badly written explanation, cheers

One of the following is likely the culprit, you will need to go thru each one of them and find the root cause -
Battery, starter relay, starter, fuel pump, ...

If the battery is original one, battery may be on it's way out. Recharge the battery and see if the battery is holding the charge; test the battery voltage. Once you rule that out (or you know for sure, the battery is good), then you will need to look at starter relay and starter.

If I have to guess, I'd guess the starter and/or the battery.

I had the same issue. I changed my key battery and it fixed my problem.

Have you charged the battery?
Like I said earlier, if you are 100% sure it's not the battery, then more than likely, it's the starter.
