Mostly concerned about engine oil, only because BMW recommends 14K interval between changes and I've seen vids online showing internals just caked with sludge!

I would be reluctant, if top quality oil has been used it should be fine.
Flushing agents 'might' cause damage, they will certainly thin out the oil in the engine and if using a flushing oil you will be running a very light oil through.
Not seen many issues with BMW engines getting clogged up oilways.

Ok I bought 10 filters used 2 of them and did 2 oil changes. I bought 15.5 quarts of Shell Rotella T6 5w40. My initial drain of the Royal Purple 5w30 with Seafoam Motor Treatment had 600 miles plus or minus. Changed filter and added the 5w40 and 16oz of B12 and ran the motor for 20 min.....on final change the oil looked much better and am hoping for less varnish and better performance.
The picture didnt turn out that great but...1st drain is on left second is on right. Oil on the right is lighter even though it doesnt look like it.

if you want to keep ur car over the long haul....oil change intervals: 6mos./7k synthetic oil, which ever comes first.

That's what happens when you leave ur oil unchanged for 14k miles (didn't mean to be rude, sorry) don't pay that extended life oil crap that BMW is telling us

i wouldnt do any engine flushes, since those are solvents which dilute the oil, and bearing wear may occur, and possible seal swelling may happen.
i'd recommend just doing more frequent oil changes.
