Here's what I did recently...
COOL TUBE HEAT SHIELD
Keep your induction air cool with this unique lace up tube cover. The design of the cover allows it to fit from 2-1/2 inch to 4 inch air tubes up to 36 inches long. The lace on heat shield blocks over 98% of the radiant heat of the turbo and exhaust.
ADHESIVE BACKED HEAT BARRIER
The Adhesive Backed Heat Barrier protects parts and components from radiant heat. It can be used in applications to protect painted surfaces, plastic parts or any component from the damaging effects of radiant heat.
Aluminized Heat Barrier is made up of woven silica with a flexible aluminized finish. The highly reflective surface of the material is capable of withstanding radiant temperatures in excess of 2000?F.

Any measurable increase in performance?
I just noticed these things (air filter housing and duct) get so hot being in the engine compartment. Reading about CAI systems mentioning about cool air going to the engine is good, plus a little bit of personalization. Its not invasive and shouldn't void any warranty, right?
Thoughts, anyone?
