So I made an MP3 cd for the ride, works pretty good but when I hop out then back into the car and start it up with the cd already inside, it says "Medium can't be read" or something like that, any ideas boys? Only thing I can or have to do is eject and insert again and it reads...

i havent tried it in my 2008 but when i had my 2007 the same thing happened it was annoying so i stopped using them and just used my phone for all my mp3s with the aux cord
Follow three simple rule..you won't have any problem with MP3 CDs..
1. Use better quality media ( I personally prefer verbatium CDs or any high end brand is ok)
2. Use good CD burning program (some thing similar to Nero )
3. Burn it at the lowest speed possible
you may also update the firmware of the CD writer for better performance...

That advice used to be sound but lately, as burning speeds have increased dramatically, I've read/heard that slowing it down too much can actually have an adverse affect on the process. I would say try it both ways (slowest & fastest) and see what happens since there are so many other variables involved (media, computer speed, burner, etc.)
