My electric seats, seat heaters, steering wheel adjustment and manual button for the PDC all stopped working today. I pulled out the owner's manual only to find there is no fuse chart and when I opened the rear fuse panel, there was no chart there as well.

The car's under warranty so I dropped it off and hope it's nothing major but it sure would be useful to know which fuse is for what.

In my 520d LCI, there is a fuse chart attached to the trunk lid. It's behind the lid that holds the screwdriver, spare fuses, red triangle... It can be pulled off and re-attached.

I had a similar problem and after a long investigation with the assistance of BMWAG, it was found that battery voltage was low. The systems you describe are not "booted up" in the event battery voltage is slightly off at start up as a safety precaution.

Battery was replaced and no problems since.

Thank you for your replies!

Boukehj, I will have to look further when I get the car back.

Ademitt, That's VERY helpful as I also have a 2006 530xiT. I will call the SA tomorrow morning suggesting they check the battery too as I want my car back before the long weekend.

Well, I got the car back. It was working fine for the technician and he couldn't find any fault codes or problems with the battery.

Hopefully it won't happen again.

I've had this problem. There's a fuse in the trunk that was needed to be replaced.

Folks,

My fuse chart is missing from my tool kit. i just have the lonely velcro square where it used to live. Any chance some nice fellow might post a picture or diagram of the fuse chart? I did search the forums for a bit looking prior to posting this request so please don't flame me if it was here all the time...

I had the same problem with my 545 yesterday, seat heater, steering wheel adjustments, seats, wouldn't work. Then today everything worked fine. The battery was just replaced a week ago. Does any have more info on what could have caused this problem?
