Well, we left Luxembourg around 10 AM, heading to Belgium for no other reason than to say "been there" and then immediately turned south and headed into far-Eastern France and worked our way through tiny towns and hit Metz, and Nancy and then dropped into Switzerland.

We had to buy a 30 Euro vignette for Switzerland as they were checking at the border. One of my travelling partners got yanked over and they quickly checked his registration and such.

We got to Zurich by about 6 PM, parked, walked around, ate at the slowest place on the planet (good food, just sssllllloooowwwww). BTW, they still use Swiss Franks in Switzerland but I think they'll take Euros. By about 9-9:30, we started on our way back to Munich and pulled into our hotel around 12:30 AM.

Did the Dingolfing tour require a lot of planning?? We had to book in advance to get a Munich tour which sucked.? Old factory and we couldn't see final assembly.

I want to do ED again with a 550i in 2007 or 2008.

Nice burn at 152mph.

When I picked up my 04 545i last May, it was parked in the exact same spot.

Here is a shot at Harms, the drop off point in Munich, last Sunday. Quite a few cars ready to go.

I just confirmed that all cars dropped off until close of business Monday evening, were shipped out Tuesday to "the port".

Any chance anyone in here sees their car? I know arnolds' car is next to mine.
