E60 vs. CLS-bmwvsmb.jpg

One night I went to vist my car few days before I could picked it up, and there she was hitting on a CLS. I bet the kids would have looked HOT both cars where almost the same color's inside and out. Is it me or is the MB winking at me??? Still bought the E60 (well the price tag on the MB kind of helped too)

My Ride: E60 "Stripper" Now C6 "Stripper"
Exclamation

By the way in the June 2005 Road & Track they road tested the 545i and CLS500 in separate tests.

A Morgan Aero 8 that has the BMW N62 4.4 V8 was coincidentally tested in that issue also.

N62? I thought they used the older E39 540 engine (*whats the engine designation for that*)... or did they use the N62? I forget... It was on one of the top gear / 5th gear videos...

I know the E39 M5 was S62... what was the 540 engine?

The 525 in the picture doesn't look like it has xenons whilst the CLS does. Thats why the different look.

agree....I have test driven the CLS500, dynamics were lacking in comparison
to the E60.

Dont rub it in !!! (that I don't have xenons ) I got the car used and it didn't have xenons, and that's the ONE option I really really wanted... I was thinking of getting these bulbs on ebay, anyone know about them or have them??? Or should I just leave in the factory NON xenons?

Leave them the way they are. If there's anything that looks cheap, it's the non xenon headlights with xenon imitating bulbs

You don't have to get the bulb...spend a few bucks extra and get the entire xenon kit.....then your brown panther would look nice at night
