I'd love to have 7, too but bugs will bite me to death. The design is growing on me.

I had a very bad first impression when I first saw the 7, back in 02.? I wasn't amused by the new back, and most of all, the Buick-like interior. No longer driver oriented.

The seven has grown on me to a point that I don't find it offensive anymore.? Compared to 740i, the new 7 certainly has more road presence.

Does anyone noticed that the new Scion Tc has similar headlight cluster as the 7?
I guess Bangle did foresee the design of the future after all.

Not to troll around or hate or anything, but from glancing at that first pic, I thought it was a 6 series at first.

No offense taken here. I think Bangle-lines are being copied by the Japanese because they now like the lines too.

Yesterday I was driving behind a new 7 series. When the car first came out I almost got sick because I found it soooo ugly (especially the rear). But now I have an E60 myself I am beginning to see the beautiful lines of the 7 too.. Even the rear of the car looks spectaculair and proportioned very nice.

I'm not gonna trade my E60 for a 7 (too big, I'm too young), but somehow the design of the new 7 is growing more and more on me.

Just wondering if others have changed their mind about the 7 design??

Yeah, it's grown on me but I feel the front already looks dated compared to the new 5 and 6. I'm really curious to see the new changes to the 7.

I've always liked the 7-series, but when I saw the 5-series, i LOVED it.

Unhappy

I drove the 760 two days ago. I am still under shock. Regarding the acceleration.. and consumption. Both are fabulous.

I always liked the seven as well but I think what's happening here is that both the 5 & 7 designs are/were ahead of their time.? As time goes by and more people see them, they begin to look more "normal."? Also, more and more cars are being designed with the more radical, "sculpted" look so again, people are growing accustomed to them.

I still laugh at how "old" the E39 looks these days.? I still think it's a classic design but you have to admit, it's looking dated now, isn't it?

couldn't agree more ! when i first saw the current s-class, i was thinking it's way less elegant than the previous bodystyle. it's more american than european . but who wants to jump into that big ship now ?

all i can say is that the 7 series looks lots younger than an s-class...and i already feel the the e-class looks 6 yrs old...

i have the same feeling, too. for some reasons, m.benz's designs look dated way faster than bmw .
