If you purchased BMW coolant... Just read the bottle. Idrive settings to full hot, temperature gauge to full hot. Turn car on let it run for a little while(cap off), turn off check level. top off if needed cap back on. if im not mistaken. Its pretty simple. Fan speed i dont think matters.
