The E60 in the UK is now a very common sight. Driving along the motorway the other day every time I glanced across the road I saw one or so it seemed.

Just wondered if they are now as commonplace in other countries as they are in the UK?

Depends where you are here... I generally only see a few a week, unless I go to the upscale mall. Then I see about 20 in one shot.

I was actually at the promenade in Westlake Village last weekend, and literally saw about 25 E60's in the lot. Lots of 530's.

I am moving to Colorado Springs, and while shopping for a house, saw only one other in the week I was there. I think they are selling more and more of them.

In hong kong a commuter would see 5's a few times a day, but certainly much less than the E class and s class - On just about any main road you would many of them pass in less than a minute!

However I can only recall seeing 1 A6 (c6) here since it was released.

And most of them are 525 and 530. 520 and 545's are rare.

I often go to the UK and yes each time I see more E60s.

In France, E60 is not very common yet as it's a big and expensive car compared to the local manufacturers. We still see many E39 though.

70% of the E60 are diesel here (mainly 530d, some 525d and 535d). They are very often company cars (like mine) because of lower taxes/VAT for the companies on the diesel cars rather than gas.

We also see much more 1 and 3 series (and many E90 already).

Last weekend I was driving back from Belgium.. On a certain point I was following 2 E60's on the left lane and when entering the Ring of Rotterdam I had 2 E60's on my tail. So we had a convoy of 5 E60's. It only lasted 30 seconds before we fell apart.

But it was cool and shows you see the E60 around here a lot!

12 months ago when I got mine, they were much less common. The indoor parking garage of my office building now has probably 10 of them, and they are becoming a regular sight on the highway. Not as many as E classes -- and most aren't 545s! -- but I do think the design is growing on people, and now it isn't ugly, it's just distinctive to people.

(I never thought it was ugly, but some others did.)
