Hey,

I'm reading this forum for a time now, and I have to say that this is one of the best forums concerning this car. It is my first post however, so I'm a newbie here...

I have to buy a new car within the next few months...and I really like the new 5

The car I'm going to buy must have enough power to pull a trailer. I see the 5 can pull about 2000 kg.

Anyone on this forum drive sometimes whith a trailer? How is the car handling with this?

Thanks for reactions. (and sorry for my bad english, this is only third language in belgium)

Welcome aboard!

It depends on what car you buy and what trailer you pull... But the E60 has enough power to pull trailers.

Haven't tried it yet so I can't comment on handling!

to tow a trailer.. i think u'd have to add some other stuff to the rear as I'm pretty sure that tow hook in the back.. will not suffice......

When you see it in person you would agree that you can pull a trailer with it.

If you are talking about the tie down anchor, you are absolutely correct. That is not even centered.
