It would play a big role if it stops working. If the fan had stopped working that would cause you ECU to overheat.

Picture the fan in your laptop that cools the processor. If it stops working then the processor overheats and turns off to prevent damage. If it is not addressed then it fries and you need to buy a new processor and Motherboard.

I do not know how long you have been having the issue or how many miles you have driven since the issue has happened. If the ECU fried because of overheating then think how long it was overheating before you had the first issue (No telling). I am saying something made the ECU act like it is and nothing is pointing to why. This is why I needed to see the previous codes before if you cleared them while troubleshooting

all were related to ecu issues , here is a dump and the issue has been there for the past 4 -5 month with a very low frequency and suddenly now everytime or 8-10 i would say

What does the IM (Information Messages) say from INPA.

sorry not sure how to get that , how do i do it ? it could well be the fan , do I need to take the box out to access the fan?

No the box does not need to come out I think there are two screws holding it in.

Go to the engine module and instead of selecting read EM select read IM

You have alot of errors and it is hard to get what is actually the issue because one thing is making all the errors appear. I am hoping the IM will give you the problem
