I had a trip to South Wales today and covered around 300 miles on the round trip. For a bit of amusement I decided to count the number of E60's I spotted and reached a tally of 38. Can anyone better this on a single trip? I spotted 3 Amethyst cars, a colour which I rarely see. Most of the cars were either Sapphire, Silver Grey, Titanium or Orient. I saw 2 Mystic and 1 Oxford.

I haven't had time to take pics of the Porsche yet. I'll try to take some on Saturday. This is without a doubt the best car I have ever owned and just feels so special. The build quality is fantastic. But then again it should be for the ludirous amount of money I paid for it.
One spooky thing though - the female voice on the navigation is the same as the lady in my 530d. It's like being nagged by the same woman wherever you go! The nav system in the Porsche is excellent and the arrow display is far classier than the BMW business nav version.
One thing I would say is that I wish the Porsche had i-drive. It has a whole host of buttons on the centre console on the Porsche Communication Management PCM system. While it is simple to work out, i-drive is much quicker. One fantastic thing about PCM is that it displays the entire track listing of a CD by song title. You just scroll down the list to the track you want to listen to but I have to confess that I'm more interested in listening to the wail of the flat 6 behind me than the Bose stereo.
