Did you like it?
Did you happen find out if it this was a 2-tone interior (ie. black carpets & lower dash)
Have seen the paint and leather swatches with your own eyes, what are your 1st choices... ?

About the colors - Yes, I've seen the swatches and platinum gray is too dark for my taste...I didn't like Titanium II very much either <_< -- Too dull and...yes...Very GRAY! Better go for Saph Black...but that's my opinion...
The Natural Brown leather looks like the samples you'll find for the 7-series.
I like it as it is darker than the beige or sand leather (which is a bit hard to keep clean). It's a bit like some "unpronouncable materia that extrudes from a baby's bottom" if you get the picture
My prel order is for a Space Gray E61 with Natural Brown Dakota. (subj to change...)

I asked the dealer if NatBrown was a 2-tone or not but he couldn't say -- we'll just have to wait until the online config is up (In Sweden, the online config for the 5-series (only) has been down for a while now so it looks like they are working with the mods for the LCI

My Ride: 07' 530d - M-Sport - Titanium Silver / Black Dakota leather
08' 120i - M-Sport - Alpine White III / Black Sensatec
There is a Space Grau 330i in my garage. It's as someone stated a little greenish. I'm not very fond of it. Isn't it a little boring? I'm planning to order a new 530(d or i) and I wanted a Silver gray M-Sport, now I don't know what to do, since there are no more silver gray? Am I getting it right?

The Scandic24 said Platinum Grey had a "subtle greenish tone"...
Maybe the jury is STILL out!
After all colour perception is very personal.

Nevertheless, BMW colors are very conservative, atleast when you look at the 5-series.
Actually, I wouldn't mind having a Barbera red or a Deep green 5'er -- I'd probably be the only one with a Red E60 or E61. I would have loved to see one live! (hmm...strange that they still got the Red one in the program).
Q: Anyone with some pics of a Barbera red E61?...anyone?! I've seen a Red E60 somewhere here in the forum I think.

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
Seems like the Space Grey with beige leathers (and some woods) is the choice of BMW marketeers right now.
Photos on the new E70 (X5) and the facelited E60 has these colors.
The new E93 (hard cab) has a more light brownish exteriour color but with beige int.
For sure a light outside color makes the mantance easy.

Seems that these medium silvers show off the Bangle creases and surfaces well...
They all make the car look like a slightly precious... at least in the photos...

Do you have a fetish for said materia?
