anybody planning to swoop by the AC schnitzer show case this friday at PML?
i forgot about it and the lady called so i said ok i will drop by.
Will there be any food served? I asked...

off topic...
side by side on the traffic light with a 645ci soft top with numero uno plate this morning... a beauty indeed. strangely my heart pounded as i watched it pulled away. Graceful!

thought it supposed to be on the road toward later this year. guess it got in early.

Yeah, I saw one soft top black 645CI at PML 2weeks ago. That guy was driving a 325CI before switching to 645CI. Very nice car indeed....

Was at PML on Tuesday to fix the squeaking doors. They put friction tape on all the door frames. I must say it works great, not a squeak now. Has this been your experience as well? Any idea how long this will last?

Also, I asked about my options eg. how do I know I have dynamic drive and the pro radio etc. Initially the CSA was pretty blur, he doesn't even know what ARS is, kept showing me the DSC switch. Finally he gave up, we went to his terminal and punched in my car no. plate. Woah! all the info on my E60 comes up on the screen, with a list of all the options in the car. Looks like all Singapore E60s have the 640 telephone prep and the Nav Pro prep options. Retrofit should be a breeze

Oh the CSA says there are a few orders for 545i already. Wow! The 545i is now on PML's official price list at $313K

eggz, I also had anti-friction tapes around my door. SO far, the door creaking seems much improved but not totally gone.

I didn't ask. For Bluetooth, Olivin530i is the man! I wonder if he's sent his car in for the retrofit.

They could still be waiting for parts. Or else you could always call the PML parts dept and talk to Brandon.

Can anyone help me with the following questions

- amount of vibration on the steering when the car is in idle mode. My 530i steering seems to vibrate quite a bit at least compared to my 745i.

- what tyre options do I have for run flats for 123. and which is recommended. I am also thinking of junking the run flats for normal tyres and put in a spare wheel in the trunk. the ride seems to harsh for my liking.

tmyr.

Could be your active steering acting up. Since it's happening at idle, could be something PML can check up quite easily.

I don't really sense a lot of wheel vibration at idle on my ride. Well then again, I've never driven a 745i
