What Ed experienced was that he was being chased by a WRX, and caught red handed. No way he can get off with it. Play dead is probably the only way and hope you are fortunate enough to just get a scolding. well, he did not have the luck apperently.

How to get off with laser cam speeding at 220km/hr? If you're caught red handed by bike or WRX, they usually book you at much lower speeds. For laser cams, there are no arguments at all, the video is good enough evidence and as good as being caught red handed.
