I realised that too! In the past 12 yrs... the only mod I ever did to my previous 3 cars were changing tires (cos they were worn out)...

After joining this group, I am already into iPod Video, TV Tuner, Reverse Camera, GPS... its scary...

Guru LMK, I noticed that the proprietary power socket and plug of the nuvi is very similar to Motorola phone's power cable. Wonder if they are the same. Your comments please!

Let me try... the plug used are standard mini USB. So it will work and I have tried it on my Blackberry which is also the same...

For those who use the V3 or L6 series.. the same power cord will work for any of these devices...

You mean you already have an integrated V3 cigarette charger cord installed? and planning to use it for both your Nuvi and V3?

No I dont... But Ah Boa will be visiting me early next week to wire up Nuvi to car's ignition. With it, I can charge Nuvi and Phone
