Leslie,

Let's not try out-rank each other. I take a look at the ranking system and almost laugh my head off. You tot senior member sound very senior right. People like Tategoi is a veteran member and higher up like LMK is an Elite members. Our big bro Ed is a Specialist!! I wonder what's next after a Specialist.

So a senior is actually like a Private in the army (luckily we are not a recruit). By the time we become say an Elite Members, most of our wing flaps gangs will already be either Specialist or Scientist or maybe Nobel prize winner!!

So let's be good boys and take instruction..o.k?

Cheers!!!
My humble apologies if I have sounded high handed ! As you have clearly noticed, we are merely foot soldiers in this arena... But as what my parents have taught me, we have to always aim high.

Bro Ed, I am totally agreeable with LMK's comments. After clocking a revenue of $800K, all they can come up is "I also have no reason not to trust my colleague in Germany". Instead of insulting one of their their biggest client, they should have flown a specialist from their M division down to rectify the problems you are facing. Clearly this is beyond the capabilities of the local representation.

Guys, just wanna check with you, when you lock your car from the console central lock, can the fuel cap be opened?

How do you know the mileage of your fuel tank? You need to drive till its empty to know that, don't you?

Dear Edward,

currently we do not have any M5 with which we could do any comparison. I would also like to
experience the the behaivior on other M5`s, but basicly I also have no reason not to trust my
collegs in Germany, when they give me any information!

Best Regards
Torsten Simon
Ed,

I have been dealing with many Ang Mos of difference internationality due to the nature of my business. This one sound like one of those that I've dealed with and i.e arrogant and have those "take it or leave it" attitude to customers. These are the AMs who normally don't spend really much time working in Asia and don't know our asian culture. They normally think they are the best. I must say there are also many AMs who understanding our asian way of business and eventually we become best of friends.

By saying that he have no reason not to trust his colleague, does he means that your complaint is fictitious and no further action is required?

To deal with this sort of AM, you have to constantly apply pressure and let him know that you mean business. Threaten to seek higher attention (his boss or even CEO) if he cannot provide you with a satisfy answer within a reasonable period of time. Threaten to share your bad experience with others in a way that will effect their business commercially.

You must ensure he give you a reasonable time frame as to when the problem can be solved or answers. e.g now no M5 to test, than WHEN?? Knowing the way some of these AM work, come one month's time (summer holiday), he will give you an excuse that his colleague is on long vacation (most probably laying on the beach in Phuket or Ko Samui).

And if after all these effort and it still doesn't work, than I think you shouldn't be spending 1 more cent on a BMW.

once locked, cannot open.

you need to use 2 full tanks to do it.
fill it up to full, drive till near to empty.
Note your mileage.
fill it up again.
Note the litres of gas filled.
divide KM by litres,
you got the mileage lor....juz maths....hehe!

Talking about AM, i am surrounded by AM daily too....this month, all AM in Germany are busy with World Cup....from CEO to low ranks....

Agree with TCC, pressurise him is the way to go.
Spread this email out to all BMW forums, send this email string to the HQ.
Make him answer for that follow up and force him to give you an answer on what is next.

My good friend in Garmany can help too if needed.

Last resort....use Chinese Kung Fu....uh....unless you know how.
