Any one of you tried the "Lock if No Doors Open" feature? I enabled it but the doors dont seem to lock by itself. Will the feature work only if ignition is ON?

It works... its meant to protect the car should you accidentally unlock the car from outside...and yet within X seconds you didn't open the door... the locks will activate itself again... No need to turn ignition ON as you are not supposed to be in the car...

Apparently the 7 series has an extra safety feature where u cannot lock the car if the key is in the boot...

It happened to my E60 once...when I went to buy food and put them in the boot.. as I only used the boot release... (i.e. the whole vehicle is still locked)..and left my key on the trunk floor and closed the lid.. and oops! Need to wait for 1 hr for my wife to arrive by cab with the spare keys... silly me...

I set the feature on this morning. Turn ignition off, removed the key, and left the car unlocked while having breakfast. When I returned to the car after 10 minutes later, the car was still unlocked.

no lah... its not supposed to work that way... otherwise very dangerous and more people will get locked in.... imagine having to smash the windows...

try this... go to your car... when outside... unlock the car using your remote...then dun do anything for say 10-12 seconds... and the lock will reactivate itself.... the "option" must of course be turned on in the first place...

Mine more like 1 minute. I have to wait long long before it happens.

That's why I make a point to keep the key in the pocket when I go to the boot. Even then I nearly did it once... I even throw the key into a bin together with some junks in my hands. And I was at a rest place somewhere along the NS highway!

The reason I want to activate this feature is to ensure my car is locked; in case I forgot to lock it. If the feature is like what you said, then I see no advantage for me.

Err... I'm already using GPSProxy 2.2. Read somewhere that the problem could be related to the SD card that I'm using. Maybe I'll install the software on the Pocket PC's main memory.
yes, slwo SD may affect the speed.
i am using 1.6B and is happy with it.

2.2 came out 1 day 2.1 is launched.

i have not tried it as i rather wait for it to be stable first.
