I remembered seeing one of the local E60 installed wiht the Blue tooth module without using the cradle. Anyone oe us here have this installad without using the cradle? Had seen many overseas posts on this( without using the cradle). Believe it should work with my Motorla V3 but it would be good if someone had already make use of this arrangement, even better if it is V3 or V3i.

I am intending to install one as there is 20% discount on all the accesories till end of April.

Thanks for feedback.

Sir,

Wilson
Hey, what's this? Everyone's equal here. We've got a dentist, doctors, directors, CEOs, retirees, sales people, a BIG assortment of people with different jobs and job titles here, but everyone's informal. You're a high flyer yourself. No more of that please.

We're only lacking a woman or two around here>

Wif 20% discount it is still $1,600 for bluetooth (PML quoted me $2K in March)! I think the PML kit comes with specific phone charger. At the rate ppl are changing phones, not to mention cars, this may prove to be an ineffective and expensive mod.

I got the Sony Ericsson BT installed and it has proved to work with all phone models. Agreed, it is not as pretty and integrated (the system comes with a control knob, a display, and a mic), but I must say that it serve its functions very well. For the V3, it will read the recent call list but is unable to access the contact list via the control module. I find the voice dial (dialing by Name or Number) via voice recognition feature very useful.

Next to Wing Flaps, this is the best $370 I spent on my ride hahaha

Our friends in Hong kong has posted some nice photos of a roll E90/60s during one of theri gathering. When would we be getting together at Seletar air base for a shot of over 10 E60s with a M6 spear heading the shot?

I meant to say that we're a very informal group. No "SIR" please. We all address each other either by nick or name no matter what profession.

I saw someone with a Sony Eriksson Bluetooth. Looks great. Even Nokia can't compare. BMW bluetooth costs an arm and a leg and unless you are able to use the cradle for charging and connection to the external antenna, then its as useful as the others mentioned above.

Anyone care to support a group buy? I know my friend Sam sells M/phones and accessories. Must speak with him and find out more.
