Edlee, Buga,

That was one great lunch!? So glad to have met up with you sifu's!

I was telling you that the memory key can even remember your a/c settings.
Just make sure your key is in position 2 (the one where the steering wheel goes down without the engine starting), and adjust your temperature setting, a/c on or off, whether you want automatic circulation or manual circulation, wait about 1-2 seconds and take your key out.? You'd realize that the next time you enter your car, it's exactly the way you left it.?

Very impressed with Bugaboo's ICE.? If you call that "minor" work, I really wonder what major is!? Love the M kit you got.? Very tempted to add that on.? The rims are just so nice!? Let me know where you got your ICE done?

Cheers

Toto, your stopping enhancement products should see you in good stead on the PML trackday. Just make sure you bring your neckbrace, cuz your brakes ain't gonna fade on you.

eh? Toto, you change brakes also ah? good move! Last time out for me, the brakes were the worst part of the car, after about 3-4 laps started fading...a bit scary.

toto/eggz... both of you need to report back the difference in cornering with dynamic drive with and without sport suspension?
Also how many car length between your monster vs. eggz stock vs. edlee's for quarter miles?

Very tempting to go but have to rain check as I might be travelling.

Who has DD and who has sports suspension (besides me of course)?

Unfortunately, I've got small balls, and my Axxis brake pads (716 deg F) are not quite as fade resistant as Toto's will be (932 deg F). At least I'll have clean wheels to go along with my small balls.

for quarter miles sprint i am sure all the ball size is almost as big those of elephant.

seriously... need to find out if the bmw orig sport suspension is good enough vs. those after market kW or bilstein. I am plunging some dough into this so don't want to regret.

Are you thinking about the Sport Suspension or M Technic Suspension? How much are the parts?
I'm guessing you have the 'free gift' DD since you were one of the early adopters of the Bangle box?

Are you proposing that one driver is used for timing all three cars on the quarter mile runs, because otherwise the times would be irrelevant?

I suppose you want to see the effect of:
1. a single mod - remapped ecu
2. a combination of 4 mods - remapped ecu, CAI, headers, and exhaust
3. larger displacement

How about submitting your stock car for baseline testing, even if you can't make it up there yourself. After all, you should be using the same driver for all 4 runs anyway.

Too bad mine is a manual tranny.

The new pads will definitely help, but the rotors will still get hot, and heatsoak will eventually cause fade, so be careful. Anyway, StopTech uses these same pads for their BBK's so you should be okay.
